Meanwhile, all the mods were outdated, missing, incompatible etc. After spending many, many hours going through mods and understanding how to fix, update, replace, and remove them, and voila :)

WebBack when there was huge issues with assets causing whole cities to just, disappear and make the whole game unplayable, I lost one of my big cities I had with roughly 300k population and was forced to start all over. I didn't delete the save, partly because I hoped it'd fixed itself somehow, someday, but largely because I was too lazy to do so.
