If there is no keeper then you could get the logbook within 7-10 days, however if there is a keeper then it takes 4-6 weeks as they have to do security checks before releasing the logbook which includes writing to the current recorded keeper. WebHowever, failure to inform the DVLA of any changes can result in a fine of up to £100. If changing your address, you should also supply this information in section 6 of your logbook. Do not tick ‘new keeper.’ Your entire logbook and proof of your change in address must be submitted via post.
