This is even with stock valve diameters. I have worked with a road race 289 and we have gotten 440-460 quite regularly, even with a flat tappet.

WebAug 15, 2011 · I have a 90 5.0 roller motor that I am going to redo with .030 pistons, cam performer manifold with 600cfm, roller rockers.. the only issue is the heads are the e6 heart shaped chambers. I read somewhere that these heads are good for torque and you can make some better horsepower by unshrouding the valves.
